Online Course – Summer 2020
This course scientifically examines the processes that can create world-ending disasters as well as critically analyzes contemporary cultural narratives of impending apocalypse. This course examines climatological, geologic, and space hazards as well as hypothesized human-caused hazards such as nuclear disasters, world wars, population bombs, and zombie plagues.
